Kerry Staton and Daphne Rusk are long-time friends.

Kerry took Daphne out for her birthday, proposed and was taken aback by the long silence ...

"What took you so long to reply?" was the question. Daphne replied "I am absolutely gobsmacked, I never expected it. It came out of left field"

From left field, they planned, motivated by Kerry's wish for Daphne to have a full on wedding because she had never experienced it before.

"It had to be her day".

We were moved by their youthful approach and enthusiasm revealing that love conquers all obstacles thrown at it.

Age was no barrier to their love, echoed in Karry's words "You're never to old to enjoy life" ...
